• That our Donors are an integral part of Meals on Wheels success; we recognize the importance of building trust with our financial partners.
• That each gift, regardless of size, is honourable and worthy of recognition and response.
• That each Donor has a right to know how their donation is being used.
• That all Donor information is confidential.

We Pledge:

• To respond to each donation in a timely manner with a personal letter and donation receipt.
• To keep Donors informed regarding agency activities and needs through regular communication such as newsletters and personal letters. Annual Reports will be available for Donors who request them.
• To maintain accurate records and guard against the trading or selling of donor lists.
• To uphold the Canadian Centre for Philanthropy's Ethical Fundraising and Financial Accountability Code thus guarding the Donor's rights and ensuring responsible fundraising and financial practices.
