Dinner with friends On the morning of December 14 at 8:30 the kitchen at Meals on Wheels comes alive with the sounds and smells of Christmas dinner. This time of year is an opportunity to spend the day with old friends and make new ones. Last year, Mayor Mandel joined us to produce and deliver meals that help celebrate Christmas. For some of our clients, our Christmas dinner tradition is the only holiday celebration they will have. Our volunteers may be their only visitors. Diverse groups from our community including media, students, politicians, and business leaders participate in preparing this meal.
