Portia Clark Portia Clark is the host of CBC News at Six (Edmonton). She was born in Toronto, grew up in Nova Scotia, and completed post-secondary studies in Halifax and Vancouver. In 1998, Portia got her start reporting and reading the news, and producing and hosting at CBC Radio in Halifax. Two years later, she moved to Edmonton to take a job with CBC Radio. She was first a news reader at the station, and then co-host of the morning show. She made the jump to CBC Television in 2002.
