Who We Are Who We Swerve A Breif History of EMOW

Edmonton Meals on Wheels has been serving the elderly and housebound in Edmonton for over 30 years. We continue to develop new menus and programs to meet the needs of a growing population of seniors, chronically ill and others who require meal services to regain, maintain or improve their health.

We produce approximately 200 to 400 meals every weekday in our state of the art commercial kitchen and volunteer facility located at 11111 103 Ave. Meals are transported from our downtown facility to our depots where volunteers deliver them efficiently in their communities.

Depots are located at:
Avonmore United Church 7909 82 Ave.
McKernan Baptist Church 11103 76 Ave.
Pilgrim United Church 9008 135 Ave.
St. Andrew’s United Church 9915 148 St.
Meals to clients living downtown and Beverley areas are delivered directly from our kitchen and volunteer facility.
